For the cleaning, put the device so that there's 5-10 mm left between the screen and the surface (e.g. a bag, wallet; if you want to focus on the device and you have a case you can just put it on a flat surface). Timed programs play a sound alert when the timer ends. In manual mode, an alert is played every 5 minutes and you will have to go back to the main pages through your browser. Do not ignore the warnings when your next page is loaded for the sound alert and the systems to work.
